2024

august 3-18

Huayhuash is world-class, no doubt.  Glacier peaks of Huayhuash surround you with stunning landscapes and lakes everywhere you look.  This is a lesser known trekking destination that we wish to stay out of the radar because the beauty is spectacular and we want to selfishly enjoy the scenery without the typical tourist crowd.  With that said, you're in for a major treat as we trek for 10 days in this so-called Peruvian Alps.  Discover the other side of Peru where the sky meets the numerous snow-capped peaks of the Andes.  A true gem for any explorer!

Here's the biggest perk: When you join us, you are supporting our mission to make the trekking tourism industry inclusive of women as guides.  This trek will be led by a trekking team inclusive of women as guides, cooks, and/or horse managers.  It will be a combination of men and women in your trekking team to promote the inclusion of women in the trekking tourism industry. This tour supports the mission of our human rights organization, The Porter Voice Collective, which promotes the indigenous and labor rights of mountain expedition workers worldwide.
