Tanzania is known not only for the majestic Kilimanjaro which is the highest point of Africa. It’s also known for its world class wildlife viewing and safari experiences in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Many travelers who come to the Kilimanjaro region add safari trips on their list of things to do and rightfully so. This private tour takes you to the three national parks that afford you the best for a safari experience while staying in cozy tented camps that allow you to experience and immerse yourself fully in the outdoors. On this tour, you will visit Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater with a female guide in support of our mission to elevate the roles of women in the tourism industry.

We offer 4, 5 or 6 day options for safari. Below is the itinerary for the 6 day tour. You can also view our Two Parks Safari Tour (4 Days) and Parks & Lake Safari Tour (5 Days). To book any of the tours, just click on JOIN NOW button below.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL DAY

We pick you up from the airport and take you to Springlands hotel or similar hotel in Moshi. You have free time to rest and explore.

DAY 2 - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

At 8:00 a.m., we drive for 3 hours from Moshi to Tarangire National Park. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. In the late afternoon, we drive to Highview Hotel or similar hotel in Karatu for the night. B, L, D

DAY 3 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti National Park. The word “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai language, meaning “endless plain.” En-route to the Serengeti, you can opt to visit a Masaai Village - a perfect place to explore Maasai culture and even participate in some tribal activities or visit Olduvai Gorge, known as the Cradle of Humanity. This landmark is a testament to the long journey that humanity has made from its humble roots in East Africa to its current state as the dominant species on earth. Check in at Naabi gate and after completing all the park formalities, we proceed with an afternoon game drive on our way to central Serengeti. We stay at Serengeti Wild Camp or similar accommodation. B, L, D

DAY 4 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we venture into Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a half day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch with us, we take our time exploring this world heritage site where the earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late afternoon, we go to Ngorongoro Wild camp for rest. B, L, D

DAY 5 - NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino and prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other games that you can see include leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the afternoon, we drive back to Moshi. B, L

DAY 6 - FLY HOME

We take you to the airport as you go home with some amazing memories in Tanzania. B

B: breakfast L: lunch D: dinner
